Aladdin remains one of the top five choices of Panto titles each year at Molly Limpet's.
Shown here in this gallery is a small selection of some of the specialist Aladdin costumes that we stock for hire, including structured Panto dame / Widow Twankey costumes, luxurious Abanazar options, a variety of options for principals such as Aladdin, the Princess, Genie, Spirit of the Ring, Wishee Washee and the policemen to name a few. There are also multiple ensemble options, to cater for adult, junior and pro dancers' sets.
Our Sheffield-based Studio holds thousands of costumes, with hundreds of new costumes being designed and created in our Workrooms: we can never have too many costumes!
Most clients book appointments from March for the coming season, and we strongly recommend anyone considering booking a set of Aladdin Pantomime costumes to contact us at your earliest opportunity. We may have options available later, but those booking earlier will have an enviable amount of choice.
Our creative Team has spent many hours to ensure that our Aladdin wardrobes are approached with sensitivity, and respect for represented culture and heritage, without resorting to outdated stereotypes. Many scriptwriters now choose to set Aladdin in places other than China, and we can accommodate and work with you to achieve this. The story is a great one that still has a place to be told, but it's important that we as suppliers continue to evolve and ensure that theatre is a safe space for all - cast and audience alike.
We have multiple colour options for Finale, the primary ones being red and gold; blue and silver; turquoise and hot pink, though there are others.
Molly Limpet's work alongside popular scenery companies such as Scenic Projects Ltd and Prosceneium to ensure that the costumes work well against the scenery you have chosen.
