Musical Theatre Costume Hire

Our Costume Studio is home to thousands of quality, well-maintained, clean garments that have been wowing audiences since 2001. Part of the fun of being in a show is having the chance to wear beautiful costumes, and whether you are a leading lady or in the chorus, Molly Limpet's wants to make each cast member to be able to shine on stage.

We research each show thoroughly and, as a constantly growing company, we aim to give you the best quality and service possible. Your show is the best form of advertising to us so it pays for us to be at the top of our game on each project, while at the same time keeping our prices competitive.

We invite wardrobe teams and directors to visit our studio by appointment (Mon to Fri) to view the production rail for your show and discuss what we can do for you. In addition to carrying all the standard but still-popular wardrobes (My Fair Lady, Grease, Hello Dolly - the list goes on), Molly Limpet's keeps abreast of new releases due to our great relationships with licence holders, such that we're ready to create as soon as new shows are announced.

2019 is bringing more exciting projects to the Molly Limpet's Design and Workroom Teams, with the first of our twonew SHREK, THE MUSICAL wardrobes launching in May (the second wardrobe launches in Feb 2020), and an exciting refresh of OLIVER! under new licence by MTI.

Clients are welcome to contact us to book an appointment to view and discuss projects in more detail, where we can show you many examples of our work in our 4000 sq ft Costume Studio based in Sheffield. Good transport links to the city ensure clients are happy to visit us from all across the UK and Ireland by car, train or plane.

As with our Pantomime department, we can design and manufacture by commission if you prefer to purchase costumes for tours or events. Contact Nick to make your appointment to visit.
